Hello - Welcome to my Blog. This Blog is to provide a virtual diary my travels and experiences whilst I strive to photograph wildlife and nature throughout Australia and aboard. For me photography of the natural world is more than just pretty settings and cuddly animal photos. It's a concern for the environment and the earth all living creatures must share.

Food Photography - Holiday Cake

Food Photography

Normally I am dirty, dusty, hot or cold and hungry when I take my photographs - mainly because I am in the field staking out some kind of wildlife or underwater stalking some ellusive goby or nudibranch.

Today I thought I would try my hand at something new - so I fooled about with my Canon 180 mm macro, 1D-S-MKIII and a couple of flash guns and pocket wizards & wolla - we have a snap of Christmas / Holiday cake on a spiralled Art Deco glass plate.
